Estimate — Austin sun, 2026 rates. Assumes 4.9 peak sun-hours, 92% offset, 3.1% utility escalation and the 30% federal credit off an installed price of $2,050/kW plus $3,400 in permits, interconnect and racking. Your real number comes off your last 12 bills, on site, for free.

  • 30% federal credit still applies in 2026. We file the paperwork trail you need with your return.
  • Austin Energy rebate handled here, not by you, and not by a call centre in another state.
  • Payback lands 7–10 years out on most Austin roofs. We will tell you if yours does not clear that.
  • Shade kills yield. If four oaks sit on your south plane we will say so before you sign anything.
Three moving parts

How solar pays

01

Panels make it

Six to thirty-two modules on your best-facing planes. Peak output lands at 1pm — the same hour your AC is working hardest.

02

Battery stores it

Everything you do not burn at 1pm gets banked. That is what runs the house at 9pm, and what keeps it running when the block goes dark.

03

Meter runs backwards

Whatever the battery cannot hold goes back out to the grid at retail credit. Some months the bill is a connection fee and nothing else.

What Austin says

★★★★★
Quoted Tuesday, panels on the roof the next Monday. The crew swept my driveway before they left.

Dana R.Barton Hills · 12.4kW + battery

★★★★★
Found a double-tapped breaker two other guys missed. Fixed it, showed me the photo, moved on. No theatre.

Marcus T.Mueller · 200A service upgrade

★★★★★
Power went out on the block for nine hours in February. We watched a movie and made coffee.

Priya S.Round Rock · 27kWh battery backup

★★★★★
Called at 11pm about a burning smell. Truck in the driveway by midnight, breaker replaced, no weekend rate.

Hector V.South Congress · emergency call-out

★★★★★
They told me my north roof was a bad bet before I paid them anything. Ended up with a smaller array and a better number.

Jenna K.Hyde Park · 8.8kW array
